A blast from the past.
After years of users messing around with the Vanguard banks
then sharing them under other bank names and renaming presets inside them,
i don’t think any-one knows what real Vanguard banks there are anymore
In trying to resort the presets i’ve found about 800 dups still left from the first bank conversion
and have had to remove them one by one.
There are still a few dups left to find, but with there crc and presets names changed
its hard to catch them all sort of like pokemon.
Any-ways the Vanguard Presets have now been sorted by sound
that should make them easier to use,
They are best used in Fl Studio or Studio One
as they can be loaded into Vanguard from within these two DAWS browser windows,
eader with a left mouse click in Studio One or mouse weel click in Fl Studio.
They can also be loaded into Vanguard using Vanguards browser but this is very slow.
jBridger can also be used to open Vanguard 32-bit in your 64-bit DAw if it don’t have its own bridge.
P.S
For your own good please make sure to always have a limiter set on your master buss set to 0 db
the best one i’ve found is Boost11 from Cakewalk as its very light on cpu
and will do the job,
A limiter used in this way can be a safety net
as some presets can be +3 db and over causing you hearing loss while using headphones
or your studio monitors to be damaged,
I have also lowered the vol and then resaved some of presets in this but did not fix them all.
